Special Offer — Enable WordPress Auto-upgrade

September 7, 2009 @ 12:58 am

A few months ago, we released a WordPress security update (version 2.8.2). Hackers took notice, and are now exploiting out-of-date blogs. This problem could have been avoided if people had stayed up to date. WordPress has a one-click upgrade feature — we’re trying to make it as easy as possible! Some have stated that they can’t use it because of errors or permissions issues on their blog.

I’d like to make the following offer:

I will get your WordPress 2.7+ blog set up to do one-click WordPress upgrades for only $50 per blog. I’ll sort out any permissions errors you have, and if possible on your setup, I’ll enable direct filesystem upgrades as opposed to the slower FTP-based upgrades.

The good news is that this should be a one-time thing… once your permissions are correct, you’ll be able to perform one-click WP upgrades going forward!

Drop me an e-mail and mention the $50 auto-upgrade activation. Also, if you’re an established WordPress services provider and are willing to provide this service to users at a lower price, let me know, and I’ll update with a link to you.

I have a big project on my plate that is going to keep me busy through early May. But if you have a small “afternoon of coding” sort of project or want to talk to me about something that won’t get started until May, send me an e-mail!
